Ducklings get lost every day. Its your duty to find them and guide them to safety.

WASD - Move
SPACE - Toss duckling forward

Only had a few hours this time around so made a really small 1 level proof of concept. I wanted to add puzzles that required you to toss ducklings around to solve them, enemies (like foxes or kids) that would chase the ducklings away from you, and distractions for the ducklings to wander off (like food).

Fun game and well executed concept! The game is short but nicely showcases the gameplay loop. The ducks are quite and well drawn and I love how the pond / terrain looks. I wish there was a level with trucks going over the road! Would make it more difficult. Great job and congrats on your jam entry!

@leeway yea the toss is fun and there are a lot of cool ideas for how the toss could be used if I had more time to implement. I wanted to add some puzzle idea where you had to toss the ducklings to unlock areas of the map. I agree, little quacks would have made this experience feel much more rich. Very interesting idea, also fun controls. It's a pity that this game only has one level, I would really like to see this game with more levels, more variety of obstacles and of course more tools to move the ducks

The pixel art is super cute - I loved the adorable ducks! Guiding them to the pond was really fun and relaxing. The whole vibe is so chill, it's perfect for unwinding. You've got something special here with lots of potential.

Cool idea! I would have loved some more levels - but it sounds like you ran out of time to make them, which is a shame. Overall a good idea that could definitely be expanded on with more time!

Love ducks, so this is cute as hell. Not sure the level summary was working correctly as after losing some ducks to a drain (oops) the overlay didn't seem to show the correct numbers saved etc. Other than that, this would be a great puzzle game!

@rkhadder Of course, starting from treadmills, standing on which the ducks will fly far, ending with catapults and portals from the game Portal dot I think such an absurdly Funny game will have enough space for absolutely any crazy ideas that can come to your mind!

I feel like with just a little bit more time this could've gotten up to 5 or 10 levels, all of the base gameplay is there. Fun game, though one of my saved ducks wasn't counted because he was too slow. The road lines tell me this doesn't take place in the US, but I don't play enough geoguessr to know which country it is.

Took me a while to realise that the ducks would stay with me if I kept them close. I like being able to throw them over obstacles... this could be fun with a bit more work on it.

Lots of duck games of late... I like ducks.

Loved it! Wish there were more levels but I think the idea and gameplay were really solid. I think the ducklings that stop following you when you're juuuussssttt barreeelllly too far away is perfectly infuriating to make for an excellent game :)

Nicely done! And even though as you mentioned yourself it's very short, I did get some cute feelings from collecting and leading the ducklings around, even played through it a couple of times to experience the vibe for longer :duck:

This is a really concise and enjoyable gameplay experience! I lost level 2 the first time too! I'd love to see this expanded upon actually. I was super scared a car was going to drive along and squish my duckies too!
