One of the only games where it was fun and engaging the entire way through the game. I was honestly sad that it was over. The game is a vibe and a half. I think I'll download this one and keep it so I can play it again some other time!
Most underwater games I played similar to this one are annoying to play, but this one is nice and comfy! Good job on the unique gameplay, I love the arms on the submarine, especially once you have 5 of them and they're long and fast! Thanks for the experience!

comparative to other water games so far this one is refreshing, not overly difficult to control, relaxing and feels like it has a purpose, loved it, great job! and i LOVE the title art

This is really good, love a 'clean up' game. I also really appreciate the choice to make the arms actually reach out and grab the items, I was really excited to build some kind of horrifying spider-submarine. Which was why I was really bummed when the game broke on me and the barge wouldn't pick up the sub anymore :(. But other than that this was super enjoyable!

Nice work! I appreciated all the neat things you added in, like the arms and how they move, the minimap, the sonar, the way you had light bend. I would have liked the game to be a bit faster, even though it's "only" 15 minutes, it's still paced pretty slow and can be a bit repetitive. That being said I did finish the whole thing, so I'd say you did a fine job.

Apparently I'm not as fast as everyone else it took me 15:06 to beat it, but it was a lot of fun doing so. I enojoyed the vibes it was fun (albeit somewhat frustrating sometimes) to watch the arms at work. At some point near the end my arms were pretty constantly vibrating and playing sound just when I was moving around, but aside from that a smooth experience. It was relaxing and as someone else said it felt like it had a clear purpose. I think the minimap made it a little too easy, but maybe if that was integrated with the SONAR it would have been just a little more challenging but still relaxing? Not sure. Either way it was a fun time! I wasn't sure what would happen if I had bought all the wrong upgrades I wonder if you're able to softlock by not having enough oxygen? But not sure and didn't try that out, by the time I considered it I was too invested to scrap a run. Lots of fun nice work.

@SiilicaC Thanks! We were aiming to make it a relaxing exploration experience!

@EvilScotsman Thanks for feedback! Barge should pick you up if you press "UP", or "W" when you're near one of the cranes. It might be a bit too sensitive though, so we might just tweak pickup distance a bit for it to work intuitively all the time.

@t-c yep, we run out of time polishing it, and pacing was on our priority list, but at least it picks up the pace with upgrades. Maybe we should make "speed" upgrades more intuitive, so the player is more motivated to pick them up first.

@jordanfb Thanks! We initially intended to have a "fog of war" on minimap, so you explore the level as you descent into depths, but ran out of time unfortunately. I don't think you can softlock in its current state, trash at shallow depths should be enough for you to pick up upgrades for speed eventually and even without them you can still dive to a certain depths and pick up even more stuff.

@glebsviripa Thanks!

Game feels pretty complete. I love all the different stuff you put into it - like the mini-map and the moving arms. Well done!

Really cool entry ! it's always a good sign when you want to finish the game and buy all the upgrade héhé
I loved the gameplay and the number of upgrade, each with their unique use
Well done to the team, i don't have much negative things to point out really !

Hey! It was a lovely experience doing something good and cleaning up nature. I liked the cute animations on the trash and the music/sound/mood. I ended up completely cleaning out all the trash. The car mechanic with several parts was really nice. I made a recording of me playing and stuff I was thinking while doing so:

@wuk thanks! Moving arms definitely took a bit more than expected, I was scratching my head implementing IK system from the scratch...

@tori thanks! Upgrades are always nice to pace the game, eh?

@local-minimum we were afraid that nobody will notice animations due to their size, thanks! Thanks for the recording, it's always interesting to see what people discover and how they play!

Really loved playing this game. It gives off such "cozy" and wholesome vibes. The upgrades were really fun, and I especially enjoyed getting to add more arms and make them long. One thing to note, it took me a while to realize that "engine purr" meant engine speed. I floated around very slowly for a while before figuring that out. I'm a dummy and thought that choosing that upgrade would make the engine sound louder lol

Wow, fantastic game! I loved the shader in the water, and disassembling the car with 5 arms was very pleasing. One of my favorites for sure!! ![sub.png](///raw/013/16/z/6bd5c.png)

@alec oh, that was "Engine pwr (power)", didn't think that font will make it confusing, great feedback, thanks!

@sarah-upton for the color palette @batisdark was using "Master System" here. It might be one part of that retro feeling in addition to pixel sprites (though we haven't matched pixel resolution for this one, unfortunately). I personally love this style as well!

@deadcode thanks!

I gotta admit, I was charmed right away because of the game logo and the design of the vessel. The way it clutches the items to its chest made me unnecessarily invested in helping it get the job done 😭 Really enjoyed the 15 minute playthrough, the minimap + sonar made it easy enough to find the general location of all the trash without giving it entirely away (albeit a bit on the easy side). I also enjoyed approaching the surface with high speed and breaching the water like a graceful dolphin, even though nobody was around to witness it :(

Feedback-wise, I struggled a bit with the font too. I would've preferred if the upgrades weren't abbreviated, for clarity. Some additional variety in the environment would've been nice too, to keep the player invested in exploring for the sake of discovering what's out there, rather than just to complete the game. But the game in its current state is already very lovely, well done both ^^

Very cool relaxing game, I love the idea of a game around collecting trash in the ocean. The graphics and sound design were also very charming. Also a big + for the upgrade variety. Good job:)

@bakuzen thanks! We were planning to do a "fog of war" on a map, so it'll be more about exploration and discovery, but we ran out of time :(. Jumping from the water was not planned, but we decided to leave it this way, as it's fun :D We'll work on our font choice, yep, this is one of the most common complaints. By environments you mean something with different gameplay to it, or just visually different environments? I could imagine adding currents, or more drag (being stopped by some seaweed) or "destructible" environment can add a lot to this game, thanks for suggesting!

@kuboi thanks!

Very nice. the slow game play combined with the relaxing sonar music make a very relaxing experience. I think the pixel art graphics don't really match in size which give the graphics a little inconsistent feel. But overall a very nice entry!

@mamboman oh yes, pixel art is something I just learning to do on the go, so there are a lot of issues! Especially level itself, but I was scared to make any changes so close to the deadline! Quite fun thing to start learning :) Thank you for playing!

Cool relaxed game :) Nice concept to clean oceans, I wish I had some more upgrade to try optimizing the process but good job making the shop and upgrade tree however ! The implementation of sonar & map felt useful in the process ! Also music & ambiance were relaxing.
Good job !

I enjoyed playing it and finishing the game, even if it was a bit repetitive at the end. There is a nice mood, calm and intriging. Nice work

I love leaping out of the water to get caught by the ship up high and skipping the "get pulled up" step =). Picking up the car pieces was really satisfying for some reason. Only annoyance was when I get near something, one arm starts reaching for it, it's almost there, and then I get a little nearer and the first arm nopes out and a different one goes for it. I cleared the depths in 11:49, and enjoyed (almost) every minute of it! Nice atmosphere too.
