Cool idea, it was indeed fun to bounce the scythe around. Very funny concept as well, loved filling the earth with oil :P I did run into an issue where if the scythe bounces back and forth between rocks for a few seconds, it glitches entirely out of existence lol it was pretty funny but figured I'd mention it. All around a solid entry with great art!

What a concept :) Dinos and the real origin of the fuel, nice one!

Really cute game, I love the art style. The whole game idea is also very unique and quite fun. There is definitely potential for more here for a full game in the future. Great job all of you!

poor dinos... very use of the theme... its funny (but also sad) kill the dinos and turn the dead ones in oleo to fill the bar and beat the level... great job all of you!!!

Surprisingly depressing concept lol.

I really liked the dinosaur designs.
Great environment for everything.

The game mechanics were interesting but I didn't feel the need to ever try to bounce the scythe.
Creating more obstacles (maybe moving ones?) may have helped with that.
Maybe also having a time limit or something along those lines?
Something to introduce a bit more pressure into the game.

Neat idea but I am also sad about the dinosaurs now :(

Unfortunately completely unplayable on my end, I couldn't get the scythes to lauch in any other direction than left, all dinosaurs spawned in the middle of the screen and were unreachable because my scythes despawned before reaching them. Then my scythe got stuck in stone? And I can't throw any after that. The explanations unfortunately did not help much.
Maybe because I'm on linux?
The music is nice, but saturates a lot.

@limina-wayfarer Sorry to hear that. Linux is perhaps the reason because we made build for windows only :(

Interesting game, I enjoyed trying to bounce the scythes as much a possible before hitting a dino. Something like a power meter could be cool to try and find new ways to bank shots. Great work!

I like the style and is humorous at the end. I think it's too easy and needs something else to hook me in to play longer. Overall, good game and great work!

Great game and solid entry! I liked the little sound that played when you try to throw again too soon! :)

So sad end(
Nice made game. Easy to play, not punishing at all for mistakes)
Bounce could be avoided with throwing scythes directly up, could be better block this direction at some point to expand bounce mechanic.

@hoggerhead thanks for your feedback! Actually at some point in the beginning of development we closed "Up" direction with rock, but this led to frustrating experience and required far more complex level design. Thus we decided to keep it open. Yet, game is balanced so that if player tries to abuse it, he will be bored at some point and will try bouncing, which is much more fun AND gives significantly more points

I love dinosaurs, ammonites, belemnites, ancient fossils — such an interesting idea!

Interesting game ! I wish it could be easier to make even more bounce from the ground to keep the scythe going longer ! 😁

Interesting game! I like the game concept and its connection with the theme. However the obstacle design are less efficient, I only try to shoot the scythe from the center gap.
