I was a little lost right out the chute... I somehow got turned sideways without seeing the starting gate and went off the big cliff to the right. Oops. But it restarted me and I got going the right way. Good sound effects, but would have benefited from some music. I wasn't sure what the advantage to sliding was--seemed like I went faster without. I liked the look of the game, and the controls felt nice. Short and sweet.
