“Would you still love me if I was a worm?” Now you can find out in this racing game × dating sim mashup!

A few notes about things we ran out of time to finish:

  • Items don’t do anything (but you can click and receive one at random!).
  • Locks are a placeholder for more content in the future—there’s nothing to unlock at the moment.
  • We wanted to have the lines type onto the screen gradually (which would have made quickly navigating the conversation more interesting).

hm... i don't think these concepts go well together. Dialogue usually encourages you to take your time while your "race" wants you to go as fast as possible. The end result is that I don't read any of the dialogue or I don't care about the time. Though the game doesn't seem to care about either outcome.

everything else is doing great though, and i found myself laughing at the "stats". Im not really sure what i should be thinking about this game.

Really interesting mashup idea.The dialogue was quite charming. I'd be interested to see what other racing mechanics could be adapted into a VN style.

Cute art and I liked the Mario Kart style outfit selection haha.

I couldn't figure out what the ?-block did or how to unlock more dates/tracks.

It would be cool to see a randomize option for the outfits. Nice work on the graphics. I'm not sure how but I managed to trigger a 0.00.00 time with J.B. on the first track, but it resolved itself after going through the second time.

Absolutely love the "don't start" button, that's hilarious.

The mashup of dating sim and racing game is also wild, the time pressure makes me say stupid things. That bee is really mean :( Funny dialogue options, just funny all around. Worked great in my browser as well. I think professional motorsports need to take notice of the innovations presented here to properly modernize themselves.


I am satisfied with my date.

Ok, I love this! Funniest jam game I've played so far. Silly dating sims are awesome (I have made a few myself.) I like how you can finish a lap by either succeeding or failing at the date - there's definitely some strategy in achieving the best times. The racing game sound effects really take the joke to the next level too.

I found the outfits and dialogue to be very charming and it was nice to memorize the dialogue. I did both of the dating worms but then the other ones never unlocked :(

Major props for making a dating sim, I considered doing the same. The sound was a bit buggy. An enjoyable experience nonetheless.

Hhehe this game had me chuckling :P I didnt really understand what I was supposed to be doing, but it was really funny. Well done!
