But I think the oxygen mechanic could maybe be removed — it feels like the game would be more fun if you could explore the depths more calmly. Right now, the oxygen just forces you to go back up every now and then, which kind of breaks the flow.
I really enjoyed the locating mechanic, as it's a simple tool and you allow us players to figure out the strategy to use it. I also think the amount of oxygen was really well tuned, sometimes you could uncover a part in a single dive, but sometimes you had to return up for air and go shuffle the rest of the debris. In my opinion, perfectly executed on the pacing, nice work!
There's a bit too much physics in the game though :D
Usually in first-person games, the character's camera isn't rotated if something pushes him away, it's better to lock the rotation so that you control it yourself. Especially if it happened because of physics pushing away objects.
I liked the presence of jellyfish as an indicator of where to look for gold, it's a really good trick.
