Venture into the dack unknown.
A tunnel so deep, no light can reach it. You take control of Mr. Duckworth, a young fearful adventurer. :duck:
BE BRAVE AND REACH YOUR DESTINATION! ...

... who knows if you'll ever make it out alive?

Experience smooth addicting gameplay! (its actually pretty fun, considering it doesn't look too appealing )

There will be failure.

But remember, what a wise man once said:
What doesn't kill you, make you stronger!
... or smth like that.
Changelog: - Fixed a bug causing a model texture not to render - Slightly altered music behaviour

Losing really fast on the first run was a little bit of a bummer but you get back into the action really fast and I could see this being pretty fun to dig into for a long run. Awesome music - a real bop.
The character art is great. Love the thunk and ragdolly effect that you used on the game over screen. Super fun - awesome job!

Nice job!
Enjoyed it a lot!
P.S. pls either release on linux with fast restart or post the source so I can play it so much more :p
You can fast restart the run with pressing “ENTER” on the keyboard or pressing “ARROW UP” on the controller.
What was your best score?
@hypixi made the music i will check out if he realeases the track on any platform and send you the link!
I didn't manage to find how to run the game in fullscreen though, unfortunately
The difficulty felt just right too - such well crafted obstacles, especially the big ribcages! It gives so many different ways of approaching the same obstacle rather than funneling you down into smaller and smaller holes, and keeps the game feeling so fresh.
There are really great little touches too - the stop signs, the trees which are oriented so you can fit through the branches, the slo-mo on death etc. Altogether feels like such a tight package, bravo!
The game is very funny, thank you!
Other than that, it’s a 10/10. Super fun and a really unique concept for this theme, executed perfectly.
But it's still a great game, a lot of fun!
This song is bangin' and ayyyye I know that orchestra hit anywhere, heard it a bunch rollerblading in Tokyo-To!
- The animation when hovering is expressive.
- The music changing pitch when dying is the kind of polish I wish more games had.
- I found it funny that the bird is perpetually sad-looking on his face.
- The music is very fitting to a game like this where you are dodging all sorts of wild stuff.
- I like that I can speed up and slow down.
- I did not engage with the dodging much at all, but it was a fun little thing to play around with.
Great one!
the biggest enemy in the jam is the time, we wanted to Focus this jam more on a precise simple Vision and execute it well, because we failed to finish our game last time. Appreciate the compliments!
Changing the formula up to gradually increase more difficult chunks would be a great improvement and also could lead to the ability to do some environmental storytelling. I imagine you could start with wooden planks and branches, later introduce some of the machinery and industrial themed obstacles and end it in a demonic dark descent.

If I were a duck, I would want to fall into that well.
:D
What hinders the gameplay a bit for me is the fact that I can't see what's underneath. Maybe making it a bit translucent would help.
I loved your soundtrack.
Congratulations!
BTW, high score was 2215.14m

love the silly mood too ! could be a phone game i actually play :D
While the gameplay in itself is shallow, you can only do so much with this type of "obstacle course run" structure. Speaking of, I appreciate the variety in the many props used to impede your fall. The movement is smooth and satisfying, and the music slowing down down, turning into a more miserable sounding version of it self has to be the icing on the cake. Great job!
Great job!
Really fun game, sometimes it was a little bit not clear where the collision started or stopped, and I got some frame drops here and there that made my heart race :D But overall, great fun!
I got 4328 and made a small clip of it, excuse my french rambling

I would love a version with it with UNLIMITED BOOST because i can feel the wind
That game was very well made, I hate the bats, that intro scene is amazing too, I hate the bats, the speed increase is so good that whenever i launch a new run I feel so slow, I hate the bats, the music is super good and the bonk + slow of the music is on point, I hate the bats.
Best game for me so far
I hate the bats
I think it'd be an interesting idea to have diving charge the slow-down stamina bar. Then you'd have to go fast to go slow.
I did have a lot of fun and kept "one more time"ing it on stream which is always the mark of a fun game!
Yeah we want to change the boost to unlimited and at the same time fill the bar for the float more.
with some added effects its going to be even better believe me. Thanks you for playing and the kind words! Here is my current best run, maybe you could even beat it :D the speed increase till you hit 5000

Merci beaucoup pour ton commentaire! <3
I feel like the game is appearantly quite popular in France (had another french streamer who loved it)
We're really focused on making some sort of mobile release for this game with alot of quality of life changes that are gonna improve the experience even more.
We're excited to see the feedback and will even add a personal score meter, aswell as a global leaderboard to compete even more.
Take care and remember: YOU ROCK!
That speed at 5k seems so adrenaline inducing

I don't like the moving obstacles, since it's hard to tell exactly the depth difference with our duck. You can kind of feel the depth difference by playing for a bit, but to me it feels like I'm getting better at dealing with the issue (like you would get used to play around a bug). For a perfect audio grade, I would have loved sound effects in addition to the music (wooosh when passing close to an object, moving obstacles making noise etc.)
Great job!
Frankly there were too many controls and objects for me to progress much, something with my depth precaption didn't work with this game for some reason
At least you here the cool *boink* with rag doll animation when you lose :)
