Author notes: * I only had time to make three levels, so this is fairly short. * Grappling... it's a thing: - The grapple mechanic can get a little silly, but I'm choosing to say that's a feature. - Aiming above grapple posts may help if you can't target them correctly. - Grapple posts will sap your velocity, if you need assistance stopping. * Sadly, sound was neglected due to time constraints.

Controls:

  • WASD - Movement
  • Mouse - Look around
  • Left mouse button - Grapple (when targeting a post)
  • Right mouse button - Press button (when close enough)
  • Esc - Pause menu

Cute game! The 3D models were really impressive especially given the time constraints. Nice job!

Awesome game, was missing a bit of sound. I'd love to play it with some music or SFX ambiance. AWesome!

Impressive and clean graphical design and nice grappling animation. I had some trouble with the "group activation" button, couldn't find more to make it work. Movement felt fine for a puzzler though more consistent grapple selection would be nice. Feels like a basis for a more filled-in puzzle game, but probably wants more elements for that.

@michael-parrish Thanks! I'm glad the models turned out ok.

@vakarsson In the last two hours, it was a choice between two more levels or sound. I chose more levels. Sound really would have helped though. You make a good point.

@jovialknoll Group activation really wasn't executed well. There should have been some visual indication which buttons were tied together. Definitely more work that could have been done. Thanks for trying what was there though!

I like the graphics and the grappling mechanic, I had a little fun with it. The concept is interesting and I would like to have more levels to play. It should be a fun game if you continue to develop, nice work!

I like the design of the robot and the gameplay. It's fun exploring and trying to find your way to the next one.

Two minor things I noticed. The player slows down quite radically if looking down. This caught my attention when trying to land falls. And the other thing was having to grab the mouse focus back to the game every time you either complete or restart a level.

Well done!

I really liked this game but it took me a few tries to get the feel of the grapple right! I could imagine the sounds in my head. Nice entry!
