Quite well done!

Good mood, gameplay is quite innovative and music is on point~

A single bug for me was the customize menu not showing what was hovered when using the keyboard. Also, using an AZERTY keyboard it was a little annoying, though not unplayable.
Good stuff!

![So close yet so far.PNG](///raw/6f2/d/z/6af9c.png) I was so close to getting to the end so many times haha - the game was so fun! Music, gameplay and mood are on point. I like the artstyle too! I never wanted to sacrifice a roommate to the void so much before until now 10/10

This was awesome! I loved the effort in the dialogue and music. The music and sound effects are probably my favorite part. The mood is on point, especially the scary guy reaching out from under the stairs.

Love the take on the theme. Thought I was gonna hate the gameplay, but it wasn't bad

Got to 100% in 4:30 - super funny! I really love the character creation, it's so unnecessary in the best way.

oh my god this is such a solid entry, idk where to start. I LOVE that there's customization for your legs at the very start??? AND the skin color affects the portrait? so extra but an incredible detail. I love the music progression and how anxiety-inducing it gets, but then it gets cut through by the dialogue which has some lovely writing and provides a much needed pause from the keyboard mashing lmao - speaking of, I really like the controls. Having to move your legs independently is so clever and really adds to the feeling of scurrying down a staircase. I like so much about this game, idek what critique I can offer, I just want to gush lol. Awesome job!

Good mix of frantic gameplay and funny dialogue. I liked that at some points the dialogue became an "obstacle" because I had to read it and keep playing at the same time.

WOW, this is incredible, i have no hands and i must comment, to be honest it's the best game i've played so far on this jam, it's complete, it's beautiful, it's polished. It seems that you are really experienced ! The UI is so smart, the game design is really fun, works perfectly. Wonderful !

Wow, this game is really cool! I love the fast pace, it's well designed, the art is cool, the music is cool, the game is funny.. like everything is a good addition and well executed, very well done!

Thanks for the game and good work :)

Congrats, I got lost in the sauce playing this. The frantic music, the timer, the humour, everything comes together to create something great. I really had fun, the concept of spamming using one hand and having to think carefully with the other really works. I just wish the text didn't scroll that fast but hey that's such minor point... Overall GG this is a great game !

The music was so intense—it totally pumped me up to finish the game, haha! This was such a well-executed game. I loved the style, the soundtrack, the story, the gameplay—everything came together perfectly. I'm thinking of sending this to my brother to see if he gets the message haha (he is lazy with his housework). Really solid entry, congrats!

INTENSE GAME, the best game i've seen so far in this jam, you really hit hard in being smart with the jam theme! the game design and polish all hit hard for what you can do and I think this is a perfect example of what a great jam game is <3

The title couldn't be a better tribute to the classic DOS game (or book)! What an impressive experience! I laughed so much, the mood is spot on. The game is fantastic, and the concept is absolutely brilliant. The dialogues are masterfully written, and the music couldn't be more perfectly composed. Such a well-rounded game built on a truly original idea. My sincerest congratulations, great game!

Excellent entry. The humor of writing was very well done. I really enjoyed the frantic pace that the button pressing got to toward the end, it was a good ramp-up. I also really enjoyed that all of the "meters" in the game were reflective of the true fiction of the game and not just numbers. Well done!

One suggestion to improve this game would be to add some animations to the various obstacles, or alternatively add some alternate color schemes or sprites so it didn't look so "samey" as you progress. If you don't want to spend a lot of time doing more art, using a color palette shader can give you a quick and easy way to create multiple colored versions of your assets for a little variety.

Love the FLAP FLAP FLAP while running, very unique experience. If this doesn't win humor, there's something wrong with this jam!

THIS WAS SO GREAT. Seriously, such a unique little game, bursting with challenge and personality and fun. I love how you interpreted the theme, I loved the characters, I loved the sounds, I loved the gameplay, I just loved it all. 11/10.

I played your game on my stream, here is a timestamp on YouTube: `https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uvsTk0plS4&t=8319s`

Very cool game! I got 3:34 on my second attempt.

Not much to say about it, the experience is very tight, the humor works. If anything needs improving, I would add a few more monster sprites for diversity, and also a way to skip dialogs with the same keys as used for playing the game. But I'm just nitpicking!

Also I loved the extra touch of letting the player customize their legs :D

Wow! Holy cow what a wild ride. What a very stressful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I especially liked that you could more or less set your own pace and go as fast and risky as you wanted or not. Nice job!

I really enjoyed the music and sound. It was effective at driving the atmosphere and pacing of the game. Having to control the movement, step by step, and attack made it quite engaging. It was more responsive than expected for a renpy game for sure! :)

The writing perfectly summed up the crappy roommate experience while sliding into the horror/suspense genre. The graphics were simple, very effective, and surprisingly customizable. Very well done.

Very funny game!
Theme, humor, visuals, everything is top notch!

My eyes are dry from the intensity of the gameplay :D I blinked intensely when characters spoke.
It would also be nice if the line could be changed to the next one by clicking, since I am not a native English speaker, it is hard for me to read and translate lines that change so quickly.

However, I really enjoyed the gameplay, it is very cool!

P.S. Great customization of the legs! :D
P.P.S. Great sound effect of hair growing :DD

That was clever. Very amusing, and managed to evoke a tense, spooky atmosphere without ever feeling outright scary. (I'm not fond of horror games.) The music did a good job of setting the atmosphere.

Wow!! This game is amazing! The left-right walking mechanic is so unique and fun, though the button press timing isn't as unique. Still, it didn’t take away from the unbelievable fun I had with the game. The angle of looking down is such a fun way to present the game, and by the way, the story is hilarious! Great game!
