This was my first time participating in Ludum Dare, and I had a lot of fun!
I admit the game is far from finished, but it gave me tons of inspiration and reignited my passion as a game developer — and I couldn't be happier.
Did I work all night? Sure I did!
It reminded me just how much joy making a game can bring — after years of crunching.
Maybe I'll keep working on it and publish it as an indie game one day.

PS - Your game description say this is for LD55
I had a lot of trouble surviving past the first obstacle, so I'm not sure if I was missing something or if I was just bad 😅 I didn't feel like I had enough time to react because of how low on the screen I was, but I might have just been totally missing a crucial control. If there's something I'm missing, I want to come back and give things a try again, so let me know!
Congratulations on surviving and finishing your first jam! :)
Thought restart was broken, wasn't clear that I had to click that button.
Definitely would love some sound effects. Even just recording your voice. But like the sprites.
Art is cool, restarting was a little finicky I had to click it didn't seem like I could use my keyboard, (and I restarted a lot XD). Nice work!
1. Yeah it's kinda too hard in retrospect, given more time I'd add some difficulty curves between levels.
2. There was a screen size problem with Unity WebGL that I missed, it might cause a smaller screen space hence little time to react.
Not sure whether it's allowed to upload a fixed version rn but I'll fix them. Again I really appreciate the feedback! Also love your game!

It's up to you if you want to upload a fixed version! From [the rules](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules), you're allowed to make bugfixes as long as you highlight them in a changelog, or you could could mark it as a post-jam build.
> Certain Bug Fixes are allowed. You can’t add new features, but if something broke or didn’t work correctly as you were finishing up, you can fix this after the deadline. You are asked to highlight the changes you make in your submission (a short change log). You probably wont get a 2nd chance with some players, but at least it wont be a problem for future players.
I am a bit superstitious about uploading a bugfix version myself ("What if I break something else!"), so I always just keep my pencil down after I get my game uploaded, but if the screen size is breaking the intended experience, I think it makes sense for you to upload the fixed version!
And thank you for the kind words! :)
Thanks for making, was fun to play, think a gentler difficulty ramp would be nice but an accomplishment for sure! Some real quick SFX would add a lot!
Using WASD let me progress a lot further, and I really liked the way that enemies and additional powers were introduced over time! :)
It's fun! I wish it weren't silent though...
