The cutscene stuff took up quite a bit of time. I built it in Unity during the jam using a simple state machine kind of script I called Cutscene. [Start] \u2192 [Wait for Dialogue] \u2192 [Player Movement] \u2192 [Next Frame or Finish]. For every sentence of dialogue, I would have a CutsceneFrame from a list of CutsceneFrames that I specify in the inspector.\n\n![Capture.JPG](\/\/\/raw\/c44\/31\/z\/6bfb9.jpg)\n\nWhat I like about the way I did it is that I am still using the player controller to move in cutscenes, just without the player's input. This way, I automatically get the breathing sounds and the correct sprint speed when I would otherwise have to \"fake\" it if I were going to simply move the player with Unity's built-in animations. You can totally check out the source code if you want!
