40 years ago, the sky started to fall. The pillars that held up the sky crumbled to dust. Underneath them, people found the depths.

It was said that the depths grants all wishes.

We only wished to survive.

Such a unique game concept, love this mechanic and its on spot for the theme! The Reeling down into this mysterious hole felt so eerie and amazing! Did not get to far because my brain is a bit to burnt from my own jamming to do puzzling XD but I could see myself picking this up again after some rest!

Great job.

Good game ! The mechanic is really innovative. The atmosphere is dark and immersive with the voices of the dead still echoing in the walls. Nice entry !

I like the ambiance of the game. Nice work with the voice dubbing. I would love to continue and immerse myself in this universe, unfortunately I can't get past the second trapdoor :( Is there a way to do it by solving the puzzle ? (edit : i did it <3)

Wow, what a game! This felt incredibly unique. It took me a bit to figure out what to do (it did not help I did not know what a phoneme was, so after I looked up the definition things became a lot more clear), but after that I was hooked. Everything really comes together in this game, the art, the music/sounds and the gameplay are all super atmospheric and cohesive. It really gives these eldritch horror kind of vibes, which was incredible.

I also found it super clever how the gameplay and the story were intertwined, because you had to listen to the story to get further with the game. It did mean I was sometimes listening more to the individual words than to the overall context. I also feel like I missed quite a few of the notes you could find, since you had to look left and right to spot them, which I did not always do.
The story itself was nice and vague, but with just enough info to fill in the gaps yourself. I think this is exactly the right choice for this kind of game :)

So all in all I think this was incredible! Really well done!

Amazing atmospheric mechanics. It was very hard to listen to the sounds, many sounds were fake. But three floors were passed, good game!

The sound design is so unique — as an Audio Designer, I loved it! You got all fives from me. The creepy lore and the whole concept are awesome. Great job! All Star for you.

Great game, very creative and unique. Lots of work put into every detail. The puzzle mechanic was cool, and you did an incredible job at tutorializing it, which is incredibly difficult! Huge props for that. Not much to critique, just a cool game with great visuals and a lot of interesting things to experience. Awesome work!

Besides some inconsistent audio levels this was a work of art. Really unique and clever puzzle design with incredible artwork and voice acting with a 10/10 atmosphere. I had a lot of fun with this one I wanted more. Great take on the theme too!

This is SO COOL. You struck gold with this one, it felt like a Steam demo for a hyped-up indie game, one I would happily buy to see more of the story. If this doesn't make the top 10 I'd consider it an injustice.

I'm a little surprised to see so many people got stuck, I wanted to go back and look at the environment some more so I made a cheat sheet in Base64: TmEgVG9lIFBlZQpQaG8gRXhpIEV2ZQpDb24gT29rIEV2ZQpFbWIgQWluIEVkZA==

Incredible! I love the mood and story. The use of voices and needing to pick up the phonetics is a wonderful idea. One of the best games I've played in this game jam. Also appreciate the Mac build so I could play it on my laptop.

So epic and smooth start to the game!
I figured out how to play very quickly, but it would be nice for some players to give a couple of test lines, more abstract (literally say 3 necessary syllables), so that he understands how the game works.
All in all, I had a lot of fun.
From suggestions and criticism:
It would be nice if the lines didn't start with the right words. When I went down, I heard the word, but I didn't have time to concentrate on the voice, so I had to listen to the recording again.

Really cool game! Trying to match what they say with the phonemes is an interesting mechanic. For one of the trios I wasn't able to figure out the middle one, but I was able to brute force it. I didn't really get the story (and I'm not really a story guy anyway), but I did feel the vibe of lost explorers. Really nice mood with the graphics and music. Great job!

Super interesting game! Figuring out the story from the echoes of the dead and the notes, while also trying to keep track of the phonemes was cool. I really enjoyed the surreal imagery as you descended further and further, plus the whispers of the voices coming from every direction. That was an incredible experience, loved every second of it! Amazing game and take on the theme, great job!

I always appreciate it when I experience a jam game with such a novel concept. The vibe of this game, as well as the core mechanic, was super cool to discover.

Very well done! I really liked the atmosphere of mystery and danger, vocal-based puzzles (yet almost independent from any language), difference in presentation of locations and overall simplicity. Thaank you!
