Depth Survivor by mukult
This is a fast-paced depth crawler where players fight through 10 increasingly challenging levels. After each wave of enemies, players choose from a set of upgrades to shape their build before diving deeper. The final stage features a tough boss encounter to cap off the run.
I focused heavily on building modular systems, a level editor, and developing enemy AI, which took more time than expected—so the level structure isn’t as polished or scalable as I'd like. Still, I hope you enjoy the core loop and the challenge!

The spawn animation is very cool, the environment is fine, and a lot of work has been done on the shooting skill. However, the lack of button effects when selecting an upgrade is strange; it doesn't feel like you're clicking, hovers are missing, etc.
As for the theme, it's there, but I would have liked to see a little reminder of the current Depth, and to say, "Hey, at Depth 10, there's a boss, etc.," that we're given an in-game reminder of the depth level.
Nice game! 😁
Maybe moving after the attack animation has started should result in lower movement speed instead of canceling the attack. Perhaps that would feel better.
