Requires some skill! Fun trying to master and get further.

These jumps were tricky:

I love the difficulty curve! Great work on this one! I also love the very minmalistic art style. This would be massively enhanced if you could make everything juicy and bubbly-- maybe think about doing that artistically if you go forward to a full release?

Awesome work!

I liked the simplicity of movement and gem collection. As far as controls go, I would have loved to be able to use the mouse location/click to mine, WSAD movement and space bar to jump. I really wish there was some chiptune music to go with this, it would have driven me to play longer. I was able to glitch one of my jumps through a wall, but not regularly enough for it to be a real issue. Congrats on finishing as a solo developer, I can't imagine the solo struggles! Well done. :)

The game is quite hard, the jump that people said was hard I kinda just teleported up into. I like the escape at the end, and assuming this isn't done with an engine its very good.

I really like the arcade-style presentation and the strategy in saving the mining for the escape segments. The controls were very sensitive and the jump height was sometimes inconsistent or I would suddenly clip up onto a ledge. The scope is appropriate for a jam game but some additional hazards to avoid or upgrades to mine the deeper blocks would go a long way.

Regardless, it was compelling enough to keep me playing for a while - nice job!

The theme, idea and vibe of the game is solid love getting down in the mines to find some gems, found the jump to be janky / unreliable which added to the difficulty as well as alot of complex jumps straight out the gate giving little time to get use to the controls - overall groovy entry
