The daughter of marine biologist Li Xiang has contracted a rare disease, and the antidote exists in the symbiotic tissues of special minerals and luminescent fish in the deep sea floor. However, the government and major pharmaceutical companies refused to fund deep-sea research. When his daughter was in critical condition, he decided to dive alone to search for a cure.
