Great mood, controls are smooth, well done :)
Edit: I can't rate you in anything?
Unfortunately, I don't have the option to rate this on this page for some reason.
I love that the dude in the menu follows my mouse.
The mechanic to clap is actually really cool and the setting made you wonder where the game will head towards.
Quite enjoyed it, gotta say ^^
Some NPCs or smth could have made it even more interessting.
People living in the dark, searching for any light source or smth.
Anyways, awesome job!
The enemy behaviour could have been a little more nuanced. Or, alternatively, it might have helped to introduce a second type of hazard in order to diversify the experience. The check-point system, on the other hand, was a very welcome addition, frequent enough for the player to not get too easily discouraged, but infrequent enough for the game to still pose some sort of challenge.
I enjoyed this one a lot. Would love to see it expanded upon some day, perhaps with a textured environment for extra spooky vibes!
Aside from that, even though the graphics are limited, they do their job and the game has good sound effects. I was honestly surprised how I didn't mind the simplicity. Would be nice if there was some explanation to why we are jumping around an endless void on floating prototype platforms
