Fun, short little murder mystery solver! Really nice compo submission :)

Fairly basic but competently made. Seems like a 50/50 guess as to which of the two possible suspects did the deed; the papers point to one but the keys and the letter point to the other, and I'm not sure what evidence disqualifies the wrong perp.

Simple, but pretty good!

Heh, got it first try. Nice job!! Honestly better than i expected, more rooms and characters than i thought there would be. Graphics are simple but you seem to participate alone and the 1 and 2 point perspective look nice. The overall aesthetic remind me of Façade. Inshort it's a small game but it's well made, which sometimes is better than a bigger game than barelly works. I think i get the theme but i'm not so sure there(?)

In anycase,, nice work and nice entry! ^^

Murder mystery is a tough genre to try for in the compo, nice going for that. I like the aesthetic and murder below the sea is a fun take on the theme. I feel like the evidence for accusing could have been a bit stronger, like more of a smoking gun, but still managed to get it on the first guess.

I didn't expect to find a murder mystery in this jam lol, it's a fun little game, well done :) And props to you for making the game in mono, I've always wanted to make a game using it for the challenge but I always end up with the more "complete" engines just to save time.

**Spoilers about the solution:**
At first I thought it was lacking evidence to figure out whether its the captain or the doctor, but its the details of the letter being in the trash and the keys suspiciously being under the table that made me think of a setup, I've never felt this smart in my life lmao great job once again

Took me three times. I'm a bad detective. This is a really nice game. I love the hand-drawn scenes. I only wish there was more to play.

I'm really bad at putting the pieces together I got it right on the last try XD It was fun but I wish there was more. Great game :)

Nice simple detective game. Too bad there are less clues to gather causing me to accuse wrong people with weak evidence.
Oh well, at least I got it right in the end.

I liked it! An interesting detective story, the intrigue is well written. It was cool to think through the motive of each character. And I didn't win the first time. But the game is full-fledged and exciting, I give you many stars

Ohh nice seeing another detective-investigation entry. It's a real quick one, so I actually just decided to brute force it because I was just as interested in the failure states as the win state. I wish there would be a little more elaboration on the whats and whys but given the time limit, you did well. A fun one!

Very interesting take on the theme depth! I highly enjoyed this short mystery game, very good for a compo game! ^-^
