The Treasure of the Gigantanic by Zirrrus
Oof. This was an intense LD! I used the entire weekend, apart from sleep. And it went so well... until it didn't.
WASD to walk, Left mouse button to interact. Right mouse button to back out of fixed camera views. Escape to bring up the menu.
There are hint texts plastered all over the submarine. I suggest you simply try out some stuff and simply retry. Also, sadly the map doesn't contain any fun easter eggs (I had ideas), so it's best you directly go towards the goal (unless you want to go for a highscore).
The thing that can sneak up on you is pressure, keep that needle centered. There really isn't any feedback to tell you that it's critical.
I wanted to do more with audio this time, and also spent some time recording some foley... but ran out of time for doing anything with it.

My first run through, I think I missed the treasure and was lost in the deep ocean. I couldn't find my way back. Realism maybe? The second run, I closely followed the map. It was much better.
I'm not sure the game is for me, as I lost twice - probably due to water filling the submarine, not sure. It was too much for me to handle everything
But the game is well done and seem to succeed in what you aimed for
I would recommend to try to introduce mechanics the deeper you go, so when you are reaching the depths you are a master of your own ship.
Very well done and fun!
I spend so much time pumping out water. I might have missed something?
I did survive on average about 7 minutes..
Best game I've played for this LD Compo so far. Very nicely done
