Shattered Depths by Sharky3188
My first solo game jam. Lots of fun. I didn't think I was going to participate this year without a team, but I decided to give it a go anyway. Also my first horror game. Would love some feedback.
Controls:
W,A,S,D to Move
LMB to mine crystals.
E to pick up crystals, LMB to throw crystal once held.

Make sure your sound is up for the proper experience. Let me know if you make it to the end.
There are 15 logs to read if you can find them all.
Made some bug fixes in the Itch versions (both windows and browser)

The "Press LClick to mine" got stuck on my screen so I missed most of the dialogue. The crystal physics were a bit weird too, if you drop them looking down they just dissapear.
Great submission overall!
really loved it, just a bit sad there is no checkpoints haha
I sort of wanted a tiny bit of the confusing orientation to add to the horror aspect, but was subtly trying to direct players with the lights, i was concerned it might be an issue, thanks for the feedback.
I die one time and I had to replay from the start, so knowing there is not checkpoint I was really really scared by the monsters in the final floor. Very moody, well done!
1. I really wish there was a clear goal — like how many crystals you need to collect, or at least their total value to pass to the next lvl.
2. Also, the lack of a checkpoint caught me off guard. I died near the very end and had to restart the whole thing — that was a rough surprise.
Also really like level transition
But the invisible monster was a highlight...and after i found out it could walk onto the metal-bridge, my heartbeat did the rest xD
Really solid game!
One thing i woul like to have is some indicator how many crystals someone should take. But just on the baskets, because classic UI would ruin that game in my opinion.

I enjoyed the lighting and the atmosphere. I really like the design on the enemies with the foot steps and dust clouds. Ton's of content with great environment design!
