Game looks fun, but way too hard for me! The jumps are just too precise for me, maybe the difficulty curve could start slower. keep making games!

Greed and Gluttony are the hard ones, Wrath stucked me with a B on a platform and made me rage and close the game lore accurate. The graphics are clean and the gameplay is alright

@thomas-bringer @gamurmakesgems Thanks for the feedback! We've made some slight adjustments to the difficulty and fixed the platform on the Wrath level

I give you credit for a unique use of the theme (not generic or obvious). I liked this idea that coins made you fast in the first level. However I did not bother playing past the first few jumps due to the controls feeling poorly tuned. All-around decent presentation, but the platforming controls just feel frustrating. Its a hard thing to dial in.

There is a long way to go to beat John  In my defence: Half of these deaths were at the first checkpoint before I realized there are double jumps!

The whole idea and especially the lust mechanic are really hilarious! Gameplay is pretty hard, but after a moment it was actually super fun because the checkpoints are very fairly positioned. I was actually surprised how fun this was, because the controls were a bit strange at the beginning. Otherwise also nice progression of new mechanics in new levels. Great entry! Give Keanu my best regards!

Well, I hate this kind of games, and I don't find them fun at all :D

But that's not your fault. Your entry is pretty well made, an intro cut scene is always a bonus that I like to see in games, and the levels are quite good, in regards to their difficulty progression and training for the last level (I saw you made some adjustment post deadline, so I don't know how the game was originally)
I didn't see any bugs, and there a nice details for the graphics and the moods.

I think the leaderboard is in reverse though, I see myself at the top, but I did the worse, especially worse that John wick.

I did it! I was avoiding the checkpoints for a long time because I thought they would kill me, but once I understood what they were, the game became a lot less punishing xD

It looks like I've gotten the 1st and 2nd place (under John) on the leaderboard, but man was the platforming punishing. I think the level design could have used a second pass with a gameplay tester as the hardest parts of the levels felt like they were unintentionally hard. I would have also appreciated a slower ramp in difficulty as the first level was one of the harder ones, and the start of most levels were more difficult than their ends. I didn't find the controls as strange as previous commenters having played a large number of platformers, jam or otherwise, but most players would be more used to lower overall acceleration. Overall this is a pretty decent platformer with some real thought put into it with the level variety, and the existence of the leaderboard got me to do a whole second run. Great job!![LDScreenshot.png](///raw/1ca/41/z/6c1ca.png)

@keithswanger Thanks for posting your score!

@wiredoverload Yea I agree that we could have balanced the difficulty and ramping better but we didn't have enough time sadly. Thanks for playing!

The first challenge was hard, but only because I wasn't aware of the double jump. Although the Itch.io page mentions it, I think this page should mention it too, so the game doesn’t become too hard at the start. After that, I was impressed by the creativity and the interesting variety of challenges, each one connecting to a sin. Well done!

I had a lot of fun trying to jump out of hell, even with platformers not being my strong suit! Awesome job!

i really wanted to like this game because of the wick factor -- but the controls just wrecked it for me -- if you were going for a precision platformer then i commend you -- still i liked what i saw -- i just wish i could get further -- thanks for making it

This game was a really fun challenge! The controller took some time getting used to, I think I had like 20 deaths before I reached the first checkpoint, but it was fun to learn and felt rewarding to reach a new checkpoint.
