BUMMÖCK by alec
The brave explorer with skates prepared
Drifts & dashes with increasing speed
Descending the icy depths of BUMM0CK
In this game you play as a brave explorer who goal is to descend the many layers of the great iceberg dungeon known as BUMM0CK :snowflake:. Using their trusty ice skates :ice_skate:, drift and dash your way to each levels goal (the black hole) as fast as possible!
:keyboard: Controls
- :arrowleft:  :arrowright: ARROW keys to move, S on the keyboard will restart the level
- Hit Z or X on the keyboard to slow and build up your boost
- :dash: Then release Z/X for a dash of extra speed!
Other things
- "Bummock" is the official name of the part of the iceberg submerged underwater. I think this is a silly name
- :confounded: Yes there is definitely some jank here, ah well
- :snowboarder: You can build up speed by going up and down ramps.
- :timer: There are 6 levels in total, post your time in the comments!
- :warning: HELP I GOT STUCK IN THE LEVEL. Hit A on the keyboard to reset to start of the level!

Love it!
( Im horrible with the dash )

Love the look and the movement was really good. Should there be music or sound? I played on Chrome and it was silent. Nice job overall!
Great work on the game!

@felix-kern Different browsers might have slightly different policies, especially when it comes to allowing javascript/wasm code to emit sound. Have you tried clicking inside the game window?
Loved the vibe, especially the music! The game is fun ( I made it to the end in 117.15s ) and the colorful graphics are nice.
The only thing that bothers me is the view. Isometric 2D is really cool, but when it comes to heights, it imposes restrictions which depend on the angle of the camera ; the culling at the bottom of the screen was a little misleading, there's no obvious way to tell the difference between the level boundaries and the end of the culling volume.
Other than that, good job! there's probably a lot of potential for extra gameplay here ( spikes, moving obstacles, etc. ) !
thank you all for playing and rating!
I love the graphics and presentation of this game. It genuinely does remind me of playing in an older system and the menus are wonderfully done.
The physics is a bit jank, but that's probably to be expected. :P
A small bug I found is that while WASD works for movement, A collides with restart. This confused me for a moment until I realized I can use arrows too.
