Loki In the 27 th and a 1 / 2 Century by liquidmedia

[raw]
made by liquidmedia for LD33 (COMPO)
Greetings from Liquid Media Games, I am creating a game for Ludum Dare 33 this time, I used
(Unity 5.1.2) Game Engine, (Blender 2.72) 3d Modeling,(Gimp 2.8) Texture Mapping, and (Garage Band 10.1) Music / Audio.

Music is played by me with a Midi Piano using Garage Band software it’s a remix of Mozart.

Normal FPS controls ( Shift key ) to run Run.
Goals to cause confusion in the bots, and find a way out.
It's a maze, some walls are one way ( it's not a glitch if you can't see it from one side )

Web Player only tested in Fire Fox, no google sorry.

Normal FPS “h” toggled HUD and “p” pause
Enjoy.

Windows, Linux, and are uploaded.
Mac OS is now ready.

Loki In the 27 th and a 1 / 2 Century.
Thanks all.

I think I fell out of the game at one point, but I was really impressed with the size of the world you built!

The embedded web player doesn't work because it's too big for the frame. I'm not sure what my goal is in the game.

Consider locking the cursor and hiding it, otherwise it becomes difficult to play in the web version with the pointer going all over the place.

I had no idea what I was meant to be doing in the game.

The goal is to create confutation for the bots, and to get out, there are a couple of ways out of the ship.

Cursor lock is something I did not think about. I focused on Blender modeling physics animation ( light mapping )

I was hoping to do another round of light affects lowering ambient light and adding dispersion, but my computer crashed doing the render, and I was out of time.

I had no idea what to do, and the frame size+cursor unlocked didn't help :/

I don't really understand what the point is, but cool ship/whateveritis =P
Also, you have some... interesting... audio. It's cool too =P
Well done!

I didn't get the game probably but I wasn't clear what I was supposed to do or what not to do. I also glitched through a wall at one moment, fun to see the whole level from another perspectif though.

The voice is awesome, the atmosphere is really good. I hope you will hide and lock the cursor, the experience would be much better. Also I didn't find any health bar. Thx for the game!

RE Jirrev the idea it to find a way out, I did build some one way walls in to the level you can also shoot through them.

RE Huo-cuo in the game you are Loki you don't need a health bar.

Trippy game. Definitely got a good laugh out of me with the floating fat stick men.

Would be more fun if you were faster and could kill enemies instead of being hiding and farming for points. You have a big level going on so why not use it ;)

Re Zenkerdus the Shift key will make you run. I just did not get the speed balance right and ran out of time - missed spawning new targets.

I like the concept you thought for the game. However I wasn't sure what I was doing. :)

Kinda confusing. I managed to run it by playing the embedded one on this page, then right click and go full screen.

Good effort.

I tried to play the web version, but without cursor lock it was next to impossible. I tried moving around on the floor I spawned but got reset back for no apparent reason. Then the next time I tried jumping down the shaft and I shot at some moving dudes, I think I got points, but nothing seemed to happen to them. Then I jumped down the shaft again and seemed to fall outside the world. So while it seemed like you've built a rather vast world, which would have been fun exploring, I didn't really understand it nor begin to manage the controls.

I tortured a bot until the score 40000
Nice modeling, nice composing, nice texturing!

It's a pity that only the left shift key can make you run, I espected to use the right shift key. I don't know how to deal with mouse, arrows and left shift in the same time, so... I put a heavy thing on my shift key, so that it remains pressed, hahaha!

I played the Windows version, the camera rotation is getting slower than the mouse.

I have not managed to get out or identify the relation with the theme, maybe this game is a way to torture people, so you'd be a monster!

Thanks for the game!

Re - XVW I have the keys setup for WSAD, not the arrow keys on the right side, I did not setup re binding keys or arrow locking. If I was releasing a full version I would set up a menu for user key setup, but it's a lot to do for a 48 hr game.

Re - XVW I have a Korean keyboard, with setting for multiple languages programmed to be used on it one click 6 different configs. In the apps that I publish I give setting to configure as much as possible. :)

Ran around shooting enemies but ultimately felt very lost. The only way "out" I could find was falling out at the bottom. This doesn't feel like an intentional exit though...

I couldn't figure out the significance of the singular yellow sphere.

Could use a clearer in-game clue about what my shooting is doing to the enemies.

Great playing with that music, and the intro dialog was quite humorous. Cool game! :)

It's not very clear what to do there, but the environment is huge and fun to explore. Congratulations !

RE- Jelinib Yes the way out is on "deck one" at the bottom its the exit :-) it's in the intro voice communications. Enemies there are none your shooting just because you have a weapon IE you monster shooting survivors for the fun of it LOL. I know it's not clear I did run out of time before getting the conclusion done.

The amount of stuff that you've created during 48 hours is crazy! I really liked the announcement at the beginning and the music. You have some real talent!
