Interesting game. I liked the audio and the visuals. It wasn't completely clear what I was supposed to do with the depth information or how to advance more on the game.

I've found the Abyss! I wasn't sure if the game has an end, and I was just about to give up on it, as I've already mapped trenches of ~3000meters, but then I stumbled across the deepest one.

I was a bit confused in the beginning, maybe because the timers are so tiny, but it was smooth sailing (no pun intended) after a couple of minutes. I felt that the depth gradients were a bit too chaotic, and the colours of the waves a bit confusing (in most games you expect darker coloured waters to be deeper), but I still had quite some fun.

Great SFX - some chill music could go well with it. A very unique triangulation game, well done!

Haha It was interesting, a bit static but I enjoyed the boat moves feeling and the addictive aspect of triangulating that abyss :) couldn't stop until I found it in the end aha !Cool quiet peaceful game :)

@ditam @knarf The waves are unrelated to the depths, and they're meant to be animated. It was static in the web version, for some reason, and I noticed too late to fix it. I see how that can be confusing, sorry! The waves work correctly in the Windows version though, for some reason.

Simple and good idea. But would have loved for more things to do in the game, such as a bigger map or additional mechanics in the game. I liked the mini map in the corner.

Engaging game throughout! I wish there was some kind of background music, since the game loop get a bit stale after unlocking the first deep charges.

A fun little treat. The polish on this piece was great -- for example the mini-map I appreciated and thought was very clear. The concept is awesome and I can imagine you expanding this to other things you discover. I wish there was some tradeoff system with the number of probes I had, as it felt like I was always trying to put all my probes down at once and the limitation was my own click speed. Good work!

Interesting game concept. If you add some polish and develop on the idea it can be a great game. Like the responsive controls! Good job!

I really like the idea — it has a lot of potential!
I spent way too much time dropping probes into the water… I felt this uncontrollable urge to EXPLORE EVERYTHING 🤣

The base game mechanics are really nice! I also really enjoyed the sound effects in the game. The way to win the game was a bit unclear though, as I wasn't sure there was an ending until I saw the screenshot of it in the comments. Some kind of visible display of progress could maybe help here.

Interesting idea! My final depth was 2305m! The ocean texture was a bit confusing because I thing it did not show any hint concerning the depth, but it helped to get a better orientation. Liked the sound effects you recorded!

Cool! Short but sweet. Was exciting getting increasing unknown depths only given as greater than so and so until I pinpointed the abyss. Haven't really seen anything quite like this, tho I also played the other ocean depth game you commented on.

Can't really criticise anything except that it's a bit barebones and could use some polish, like some more feedback (including audio) when probes were done etc. Music would've been really nice.

Overall pretty nice, and inventive!

I would have liked a bit more description of what you're supposed to do, even in the description on this page, because I had to go to the comments to figure it out :P but regardless, I think this is an interesting game mechanic and you could do something really cool with it if you expand upon it a bit.
