TIGIY (There is Good In You) by Elenesski

Perhaps you read about it in the Herald, saw it on-line on Wired or maybe it's being repeated non-stop on CNN! Now's your chance to play the game everybody is talking about ... TIGIY, pronounced Tiggy, it stands for "There Is Good In You".

Background ...

"Throughout your life as a monster, you brought death to those who would bring you harm.

It's time for you to use your skills of evil and protect the most innocent of souls from the peril they want to undertake.

Are you ready for a challenge?"

This is my first Ludum Dare entry. I wasn't even supposed to participate this weekend, but all my plans fell through. I started mid-Saturday afternoon. I was going to submit this as a solo effort, then I read the rules. Everything I did in the game, is my work, except for the animal small graphics/animations and all the sound effects.

Anyway, thanks to the Calgary Game Developers, for play testing and your suggestions, you guys rock!

Solid game! The intro screen has a LOT of text to digest, which is overwhelming at first, but the game is fun once you get into it. Good job!

Congratulations on completing your first Dare!

I'm not sure (can someone else clarify), but I think you're allowed to enter into the compo with a few borrowed assets, as long as you don't enter yourself in those catagories.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the experience!

An interesting game, but the game is very easy if you don't mind waiting a long time for your points to go up (you can greatly overuse powers and pushing)

The game is incredibly addictive, although I'm terrible at it! The sounds were maybe a tad off, being slightly weird to my ear. All in all, surprisingly addictive and very enjoyable game.

I liked the mechanic that lets you crash the cars into each other, you could make a full game based on that! I didn't felt like the powers were necessary in the game though, because although they take points away from you, they were way too strong.

@bigbuggames ... I thought about changing the entire points mechanism to be more about how many levels you can get the cat through ... a special power would have a cool down, rather than points. But I hear what you are saying; I noticed that around level 12-14 it was almost impossible to keep a positive score.
