It was alright, it would be better if the game went faster.

I like the selection mechanic, though it starts to feel slow after a while. Interesting idea though.

I liked the branching system. It was more fun than a traditional choose your own adventure twine-ish layout. Werewolf :D

LOL! That relaxed guitar music seems to clash against the content of the game. Interesting choose-your-own-adventure game style presented as a flow chart.

I really like the way the game plays out with the branching paths. I wish there were maybe more choices to make or a bit less randomness overall, though.

I really like the "choose your on adventure story" aspect and having the text approach you instead of just appearing is a nice touch. It felt a bit slow at times, maybe a faster speed or fast forward button would help.
The “Approach Slowly” option worked every time for me and I ended up with so many buffs that I had maxed stats not long after starting.
I don’t think the music felt right for the experience of killing children.
I would have preferred if the GUI was at the bottom of the screen since it kept obscuring the oncoming text.

Same boat as everyone else it seems, fun, awesome music, good idea. It just feels a bit slow.

It would be nice if there were a speed up option, e.g. press spacebar.
I really like the literal branching paths, though. Very well done.
It would be nice if there was more of a difference between monsters and locations, other than the text you get. (Unless there is and I don't know what it is =P)

By the way, you can't play again without reloading the page. Just thought you should be aware of that.

Has some decent ideas - the slow pace definitely wasnt a plus though - Would have liked to see a "go faster"-button.

Nice to meet a HAXER! The game is polished. It is a text-based game, but with a interesting twist and music is soft and relaxing.
It is really nice to rest among the chaos of JAM. Thanks

Interesting way to present a text adventure, really enjoyed the music and the gameplay was alright, although I found 5 backpacks in a row and then the sun rose ;) Music was very melancholic and fitting. Overall: interesting choices

I like the simple and elegant way you added some visual interest and motion to a choose-your-own-adventure!

Interesting game. All you had to do though is to jump at the children. Nice selection method

Cool game, I didn't see this kind of story game very often as Ludum Dare game. I love this music even if it doesn't fit quite well to the story, but I think this is intended :D good job

Tenebris Morte, or, the Clumsiest Monster of All Time.

I picked a vampire, but still always ended up ripping the kids' heads and arms off, was that choice actually meaningful I wonder?

Roleplay choose your own adventure! Great!

The music was good and it is a neat way to have a text adventure, but the choices kinda felt 1-answer only kind of choices.

The branches seemed rather arbitrary and did not come together to create a coherent narrative. I liked what you were trying to do though with the presentation.

Really cool. i kept getting numerous things happening over and over though. found 3 backpacks with health potions in a row. just luck i guess. when you beat the game and then click play, it wont restart. Great game overall!

nice presentation. some funny moments but sometimes too simple passages, I think...

The branching animation is pretty, I'd like to see it taken further - perhaps a wiggly path when things aren't going well, or a visual representation of the jump? Perhaps zoom out at the end, revealing the many possible paths? The text adventure is decent, though it could use more variety.

I like the visualization. I also like the music, although I'm not sure it's fitting :) Is it me, or do the same choices always lead to the same outcomes? There might also be a death spiral, because I got a chain of bad luck and harmful events, and basically watched myself go from 6 health down to Game Over with nothing I could do :)

AMAZING CONCEPT! really creative, i enjoy it a lot! congratulations! The soundtrack is a little boring after some time, and maybe you could do some graphics that looks like a scary book? Anyway, this idea was brilliant!
