I love the glow effects and the particle effects and it was great that you had both good AI and a very complete game.  However, I felt like the turning of the character made it very easy for me to be confused since I got confused on whether I was turning moving directions.  The feel of the game was pretty good, but something felt off.  The sort of washed out colors on the art made it not as visually distinctive as it could have been. Sadly I often felt more frustrated then happy because dash felt clunky and I didn't know when it had recharged.
