Does someone remember when was “You are the villain”? I tried hard but posted nothing! Then I grew better at building something in two days. I only posted a functional “thing” once, since (MiDriPod, for “Beneath the Surface”). But it had no goal or victory condition. T_T

But this time… this time I made something complete. It has a beginning, an end, and some challenge in between. And I’m so proud of that. I mean, it’s far from perfect, or truly fun, or bug-free, even. But it has a “victory” trigger that can be reached. And for me, it means a lot.

That’s why I now take the time to look back and remember my crappy first LD’s (non-)entry. To this younger me, I want to say something. And I will say it to every young you that will be a-bit-less-young soon: keep it up! No matter what, failing isn’t a problem. It’s just one more step toward victory. Don’t be ashamed (as I was) for posting something crappy, or not posting at all. As each failure is a step toward achievement, each failure isn’t a true failure.

I believe in you.
