I am IN!

Hi my sweet cupcakes!

Well, this is my first ludum dare while i have a day job :smile: So it will be totally new experience! Good thing is i have only 6 hours job because my mental health is... Not very good :smile: ( i taking invalidity pension because of that :smile: )

But, now about LD!

I hoping i finish my game this time :D I plan to buy at least five energy drinks. Yesterday i had psychotherapy and got lots of pills so depression won't get me thist time!!!! I also plan to make some time managment preparations. I will be working two hours straight and then half or maybe whole hour pause. In free time, i will go probably visit grandma and talk about old times. That is great source of inspiration. Last thing which i make is timeline! It will look probably like this:

Ludum dare is starting in 3:00 AM in my country.

  • 3:00 - probably 10:00 sleep Maybe i wil start from 3:00 if i got some sleep in friday after work.
  • 10:00 - 11:00 Waking up rituals. (Cofee, breakfast, facebook and Ludum Dare website check)
  • 11:00 - 12:00 Thinking up game mechanics and some ideas. Sketchbook only
  • 12:00 - 14:00 Prototyping
  • 14:00 - 15:30 / 16:00 Grandma visit
  • 16:00 - 19:30 Another prototyping
  • 19:30 - 20:00 News :D
  • 20:00 - 1-3:00 Making core mechanics.
End of day 1 and beginning of day 2
  • 3:00 - probably 10:00 sleep
  • 10:00 - 11:00 Waking up rituals. (Cofee, breakfast, facebook and Ludum Dare website check)
  • 11:00 - 15:00 Finishing core (like texts, controls e.t.c)
  • 15:00 - 20:00 Graphics + Sounds
  • 20:00 - 21:00 Dinner
  • 21:00 Sleep
End of day 2 and beginning of day 3
  • 6:00 - 14:00 (Work from 6:00 to 12:30, Bus ride from 13:00 to 13:30 and 13:30 to 14:00 hygiene.)
  • 14:00 - 15:00 Just laying in bed :D I am tired after work
  • 15:00 - 18:00 Polishing
  • 18:00 - 20:00 maybe 21:00 Finishing touches (screenshots, game icon and similar things)
  • 21:00 - 21:30 Submitting
  • 21:30 Blissfull sleep.

And now about tools!

I will be using:

  • Game Maker Studio 2 for code
  • Pyxel edit + paint.net and/or Blender for graphics
  • Brain for ideas
  • BFXR and Rytmik ultimate for sounds
  • Lots of youtube tutorials :D
