It was only last month that I decided I would enter Ludum Dare for the first time. Since, I had completely forgotten about it until 12\/10\/15, one day before Ludum Dare 34. I quickly typed in all caps in my Skype chat between the members of my dev team, “GUYS,” “DROP EVERYTHING,” “LUDUM DARE 34 IS TOMORROW.” I was determined to make my first entry for the Ludum Dare game jam. When time came to come up with an idea, I wanted to use both themes that tied, the one idea stood out in my head, Balloon Roulette. A game where, if you press the right button, your balloon inflates, and if you press the wrong one, *POP* goes your balloon. The idea, though simple would take me until Sunday at 22:00 to finish. By the time I was finished, I was quite satisfied with my simplistic, mobile-oriented game of chance, I pushed to my repo, built with Unity Cloud Build and submitted. The game has a fairly satisfying main menu, if I do say so myself, and a few simple mechanics that could easily make a popular game on the mobile market. As of now, I want to eventually <\/strong>release this game on Android and iOS, as I feel as if most mobile games are moving to a more simplistic style. Moreover, regardless what happens later on to the weird game that I submitted, no matter what ratings I get, I will definitely be doing this again. This was both a learning experience and a challenge, a very fun one. You will definitely be seeing something from me in April, for Ludum Dare 35.<\/p>\n
