The first day I woke up a bit late, so I begun with a little bit of (unnecessary) stress. I didn't come up with ideas very easily, until finally I settled on making a space adventuring game. The idea was to make a space exploration game, where you balance your fuel\/oxygen\/etc. resources, and more of anything means more weight, which is arguably a \"worse\" when in space. Well, as you might guess from the past tense, this idea was doomed from the start, and after 7 hours I abandoned it. At that point, Ludum Dare had been running for about 16 hours, so I just decided to stop for the day.\n\nThis morning (about 5-6 hours ago) I started the game I think I'll be submitting. It's about making a factory, where efficacy is the main goal: the more resources you use, the worse it is ;) Feeling pretty good about this idea, though having about 16 hours total to make a game is pretty spooky. ![UE4Editor_2017-12-03_17-43-53.png](\/\/\/raw\/6e\/z\/9fd4.png)","comments":0,"created":"2017-12-03T15:37:33Z","files":[],"files-timestamp":0,"id":64073,"love":3,"love-timestamp":"2017-12-03T16:29:11Z","meta":[],"modified":"2017-12-03T16:29:11Z","name":"One day is still one day","node-timestamp":"2017-12-03T15:46:05Z","parent":51147,"parents":[1,5,9,49883,51147],"path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/40\/capitality\/one-day-is-still-one-day","published":"2017-12-03T15:46:05Z","scope":"public","slug":"one-day-is-still-one-day","subsubtype":"","subtype":"","type":"post","version":167559},"node_metadata":{"n_key":"64073","n_urlkey":"319664","n_parent":"51147","n_path":"\/events\/ludum-dare\/40\/capitality\/one-day-is-still-one-day","n_slug":"one-day-is-still-one-day","n_type":"post","n_subtype":"","n_subsubtype":"","n_author":"230","n_created":"1512315453","n_modified":"1512318551","n_version":"167559","n_status":"WAYBACK"},"source_url":"https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/40\/capitality\/one-day-is-still-one-day","text":"This Ludum Dare has been quite the emotional rollercoaster for me.
