I just had to copy-paste the string display and clear screen commands as I wrote the story. All in all, I spent only around 8 hours completing this. So how does *Excessive* stack up?\n\n![ld40results.jpg](\/\/\/raw\/470\/1\/z\/ecf7.jpg)\n\nJudging from the scores, rankings, and the comments left at the game page, it seems not everyone embraced my concept of a kinetic novel programmed in an archaic language and meant for retro systems. But that's OK.
