LD 40 was much fun for us and hopefully you did enjoy it, too!\n\nThis time we tried something absolutely new to us: a storytelling game!\nAnd it was A LOT of fun creating it!\nThere are characters, stories, dialogues, settings, levels, animations and so much more to design, create and polish in this kind of games. \n\nFrom my perspective as the programmer it was quite nice not to have that much of gameplay-dependent systems, but more text, speech, camera flights and so on. Less complex code, more complex scenes and a lot of fun! :D \n\nI worked together with an sound artist, that created tons of clips and worked a lot on the voice-overs, and a game-designer\/dialogue writer that gave his voice for the main character.\n\nMe and my team had some bad luck with artists, so we sticked to 3rd party graphic assets this time.\nSomehow it feels strange to use such non-selfmade graphic assets in a gamejam, but after all I am very happy with it. How do you think about it?
