Hopefully that helps clarify the narrative.\n\nThis was my first complete LD entry and I've really impressed myself. I had to cut so many things, but the result is a project that at least feels complete.\n\nUnlike many other devs, I didn't create a design document or plan too much of the game in advance. There's no right way to do these things, but I found that adding things as I went along helped accelerate development. It also meant that the latency from design to testing was low, so I could discard things that didn't work early on.\n\nI tried to interpret the theme in a unique way. I don't know if I've succeeded but the basic idea is there.
