So somehow I brainwashed myself into thinking the rating period was ending on 31st. So today I wake up, and I think to myself, I'm gonna slowly go and start gathering ratings a few days in advance... Only to find out I have like 2 hours left and 10 ratings to go. So I made myself some breakfast, a nice warm tea, turned up the heater, got myself all cozy. And proceeded to panic.

As a result of the ensuing playing/rating spree I did manage to bump our game to the top of the queue, but ratings came too slow and I only managed to gather 16/17 ratings for us. We did get results nonetheless though. And I have very mixed feelings about these.

On the one hand some of these are really great - I mean holy crap, we got 666 in theme, that's pretty damn metal. On the other hand, I can't shake the feeling this is all undeserved. We didn't get enough ratings. There are folks out there who got into the top 100 with 50-80 ratings, meaning their results are more objective. As far as anyone is concerned, we could have just hired 17 hitmen to assassinate LD-goers and rate us from their accounts.

But still, kudos to those hitmen. They might be merciless killing machines, but they did have the heart to give us those ratings despite there being only a very small monetary bonus for doing so. So thanks to all.
