I really didn't expect that we would take 1st place overall in the jam, especially because we split our efforts between TWO different games this time (both were fully made in the 72 hour timeframe). This was my 17th time participating in Ludum Dare and it was an absolute blast...I really couldn't have asked for more.

I'm also really happy to see that Goodnight Sheep was so well-received, despite being an unorthodox/atypical game experience. It made us really happy seeing that people really understood what we were trying to portray and related to the experience personally as well. It seems that video playthroughs of Samurai Shaver are starting to pop up too! It's been really fun watching people do their best at being a flawless samurai barber (sometimes failing hilariously in the process).

Huge thanks to @xellaya, the other half of Cocoa Moss, as well as @littlecloudflower who joined us this time around and handled the narrative and design for Goodnight Sheep.

I've been hard at work this week putting in a bunch of new features for Samurai Shaver, including tighter audio sync, gamepad support, and even a mobile port! All of that will be coming soon in the next update, so look forward to that! And of course, I hope to add some more levels for those of you who thought that the first 4 levels weren't difficult enough! We'll also be releasing Goodnight Sheep for mobile too :)

I also hope to post a full post-mortem writeup of our LD experience and our two games, so stay tuned for that as well. (Let me know if there are any questions I should answer in that report)

And to the rest of you, congrats on your games and I hope to see you all back again in April!
