I honestly didn't think I'd be participating in this compo. I saw the theme and was immediately turned off by it. But like any other compo I started riffing (bad) ideas on the IRC channel and actually hit one that not only sounded interesting, but simple and quick too. Turns out it wasn't quick at all, but it was simple enough to end up more complete than my usual submissions.
