Type Fighter: Turbo Postmortem

Capture.PNG

What a whirlwind weekend. Thank you all so much for your support during this event. Here's some fun fact for data nerds like me:

  • My keyboard endured 26,619 key presses from the beginning of the Ludum Dare to submission (Thanks Razer for your profiling!). That's testing and programming.
  • I cleared Stage 1 54 times during development. Test. Test. Test.
  • I built the game a total of 14 times to distribute to friends for testing.
  • I consumed 2 entire pizzas throughout LD41. I converted Little Caesars into code.
  • The first song we put to our combat was "Through the Table and the Memes."
  • There was supposed to be a "critical strike" system that was cut during development of Stage 1.
  • A Challenge Mode was intended to be implemented that contained a paragraph written by a dear friend with a degree in medieval literature.
  • I slept a total of 14 hours out of 72. That's a 60% increase from the last time I did a Ludum Dare, which was Ludum Dare 32!

If you haven't already, please give our title a shot. We will be doing our best to rate all of the games by developers who take the time to rate our title and appreciate your time in advance.
