What We Missed

This was such a fun experience and at least for me as the artist it wasn't as stressful as Ludum Dare 41. We managed to complete our game with almost it's full scope and even a few stretch goals.

After completing much of the scope requirements on my end I set about completing some of the out of scope content, earning gold and buying food to feed your tower was one such goal and I managed to quickly bang out some art for those.

Looking back I feel like I should have spent that time on UI graphics as the UI ended up a bit of a mess and the font I settled on doesn't suit the game at all.

What we missed from our scope was a death mechanic, which would have had the towers you raised die during combat if not properly maintained. In the end this wasn't crucial to the game and would have taken a while to implement so instead we focused on polish and some easier to implement stretch goals.

In the end I'm happy with what we did the art scope was still probably larger than necessary but I managed to pull through with time to spare!

You can find our little game here and raise a tower of your own!
