This Game Jam was AMAZING!

I literally almost lost all motivation for game development, until the Ludum Dare 42 started. It was just amazing how the game jam, got me into a situation where I have to make decisions to make sure the game will end up playable and at least fun in a limited amount of time. In my usual situation, I would just improve on the details of a game, with no stress of a deadline at all. (I am not a professional gamedev, I just make games for fun, as a hobby, I didn't have a deadline...)

I think another reason the game jam was so fun for me was the fact that I chose to do something I have never done before. For me that was as easy as pie, I had only made 1 game in Unity, so choosing something completely different wasn't as hard, but a tip for every game jammer: Try to find a weak spot or blind spot in your game development knowledge database. Game jams are just 10X more fun in that way. Even if you didn't actually like the end product or the game you worked on isn't finished, you still learnt a lot of stuff on the way to making your game.

In addition to that... the amount of feedback you'll get after making the game is enormous! :hushed: You might ask yourself: What can you do with feedback? Well... You can use feedback as a path to making your game better. You can see it as an assignment you got from someone else that if you finish you'll make your game probably 10X better in every way.

It would be great if you could leave feedback for my game: Shoot O' Space
