Spaced Out
The 80's is back in this oldskool vector style game!

After entering last Ludum Dare with a team of 3 people from cMonkeys, i decided to enter this time alone. This was mainly because the other 2 didn't had time and personally i knew i was have little time myself also and i did not wanted to let others time by not putting enough time in.
I had to work the whole weekend so i had to try to squeeze in time between work and sleep:
*Work Shedule: * - Day 1: 6.5 hours - Day 2: 5 hours - Day 3: 6 hours
I knew i had to keep things simple as this so i decided to go for simple art, there i'm by far no artist. After a short brainstorm i decided to take on the vector style approach because i knew i could pull off graphics for this, a nice glow shader made it look even quiet nice.
*What went good: * - Decided on a idea quick and did not change much from the original idea. - Managed to get 'art' and sounds/music done real quick without losing too much time over it. - The actual gameplay code was done quick also
*What went bad: * - To be honest, not much... Most of the 'bad' stuff is just stuff i did not had time to implement like having more powerups, having 2 player local multiplayer, having a online leaderboard, and more polish. - I found out a 'game breaking bug' after 1 day because of some rushed control code that went wrong. This bug only happened for people who turns vsync off on their videocards (i think). Some people reported this and i was able to fix this bug and upload the bugfix.
So... i'm happy with the result, especially because i had so little time to complete this. Please try the game and post your personal record here or on the games comments.
