https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/sweatin-spinnin-spacin We toyed around with several ideas starting this game with this being the first one D: Taking the theme literally, we wanted a game you could run in space, across atmospheres, jumping on planets and hopefully getting out of space?

With the different atmospheres came different art styles :yum:

Our objective this jam was to come up with something that had simple gameplay as we were trying a new engine (Defold!) I wanted to try animating in spine, and learning how to do it based on my experience with rigging/animation in 3D (not much)

And above everything we decided right from the start that Richard Simmons would be our inspiration XD Although the character did not end up looking much like him.Pardon the early doodles
