Player power and game difficulty MATH in my game explained!

GAME MATH and BALANCE!

For those interested, here's a quick rundown of what's happening math-wise in my game, "Poisoned Palace."

Game Difficulty

The game's difficulty is on a timer, and each level lasts 10% longer than the previous one. Level 1 only lasts about 20 seconds, Level 2 lasts about 22 seconds, Level 3 about 24 seconds, etc. With each level, lots of stats are increased, as illustrated in the infographic in this post, such as enemy health and damage, rate of poison rise, etc.

Player Power

Starting at power level 1, the player must traverse the obstacles in the palace, avoiding the rising poison when possible and destroying enemies that are in their way. Finding and collecting powerups increases the player's stats as illustrated in the infographic in this post, such as Max HP, attack damage, and more. The idea is to rush the player to explore and power up in order to maintain a balance with the game's constantly rising difficulty (and poison).

Feedback

What do you think? Does the math make sense? Did I achieve a balanced difficulty system, or is the game way too hard? Please play, rate, and let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
