Given my tendency for less narrative-driven games it turned out more like a simulator\/RPG than an actual visual novel, despite using Ren'Py for development and Kate's art gearing toward the VN style. (Check it out [here](https:\/\/ldjam.com\/events\/ludum-dare\/41\/project-avn))\n\nThis time around, we're going full VN with branching choices and a focus on narrative, character development, and relationships. At least, that's what we're aiming to do.\n\nIn addition, Kate will be available for the entire 72 hours of the jam, which is 66 more hours than she had to work on Crops in Space. That, plus additional experience with art, should result in an improved visual presentation. (No pressure, my love <3)\n\nThe final themes list is much better in my personal opinion than it has been the past few years.
