We're in!!!

It's that wondrous time of year again, very excited to participating in my next Ludum Dare (I've honestly forgotten how many I've done at this point). I'll be joined by Aaron @almax (code) and Dale @dale-smith (audio) for this one. The last time the three of us were together on a project was my most successful and popular jam to date. Trying not to get too excited up as there is always a chance everything will fall apart.

I've seen a lot of posts from various people I recognise, and a few newcomers. Hope everyone has fun and learns something!

Every jam, we usually give ourselves an extra little handicap for fun. We try and decide what our genre of game will be before the jam, it keeps it fresh and allows us to make games that we've never made before. The previous 3 jams have been RTS, FPS and twin stick shooter. This time we are going to attempt to make a side scrolling beat-em up, a genre I've always wanted to make. However this will be tossed into the wind if the theme doesn't suit, or if someone has just too good an idea to pass up on Saturday morning.

Here is a short promo video I made stupidly late last night because I got excited and wanted to post something!
