Sometimes, you gotta sacrifice to the native spirits that meddle with your farm to appease them and earn their favors. Ignore them too long and they'll ruin your efficiency and throw tantrums that wreck their shrines, but make sacrifices and upgrade the shrines to gain their boons with better farm efficiency and larger harvests!\n\n### Beware the Taxman!\n\nThe Taxman is a government official with one goal: to take your hard-earned money or seize the land your farm is on for the government! Pay his taxes regularly, or he'll shut down your farm permanently and kick you out.
