My previous titles <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-32\/?action=preview&amp;uid=50718\" target=\"_blank\">Umbrellespionage<\/a> and\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/ludumdare.com\/compo\/ludum-dare-33\/?action=preview&amp;uid=50718\" target=\"_blank\">Imperial Accountant\u00a0<\/a>were both pretty alright, but had similar issues. I spent a decent amount of time producing the graphics and had no solid conclusion. In addition both were stealth games which means I am likely to try to avoid that for this Ludum Dare.<\/p>\n <p>What I did well in previous Ludums:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Involving the Theme<\/li>\n <li>Keeping the game at a particular level of polish<\/li>\n <li>Provided reasonable sound and music<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>What I&#8217;ll be trying to improve in this Ludum:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Making the theme integral, as opposed to simply related<\/li>\n <li>Make a catchier name<\/li>\n <li>Avoid long startup\u00a0 (as reviewers are likely to spend less then 2 minutes on the game on average unless they are very hooked)<\/li>\n <li>Create a gameplay experience that can be satisfying in both short form and long form gameplay.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Thanks for reading and I&#8217;ll probably be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/ilseroth\" target=\"_blank\">streaming<\/a> this for anyone who is interested.<\/p>\n <p>&nbsp;<\/p>","time":"December 8th, 2015 1:58 pm","title":"I\u2019m in again :)"}
