Heh.. another jam's game was made!

I will express some of my thoughts on how the game jam took place for me. So, the theme was "Sacrifices must be made". It was thought up several options for the implementation of the idea: from a simple runner (where you have to accumulate coins, and then sacrifice them to get even more coins); up to a strategy where you manage a tribe / herd with a well-designed sacrificial system, and you need to sacrifice your “subjects” for the prosperity of the tribe.

However, then I came up with the idea to do something close to everyday existence. After all, every day we are confronted with the fact that we permanently sacrifice something. We consciously or unconsciously want something that will give us what we want, but at the same time it will negatively affect something else. So, we can lie on the sofa, enjoy the pleasure of relaxation, but not to do something useful. Or eat sweets to the detriment of our health. Or, on the contrary, sacrifice your time for a useful thing, such as programming. And such “sacrifice choices” takes place several times every day.

And you can truly become successful and happy if you find a balance between all the sacrifices. Develop yourself harmoniously in all states.

That is what you can do in the game "Harmonious Development" ! So, if you are interested, here is a link to the game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/43/harmonious-development
