Sacrifice your integrity with Super Sellout’s Contracts!

For Super Sellout, the entry from our team this time around, getting to the final idea wasn’t easy at first. In the end, we reached what we think is one of the most common sacrifices you can make - sacrificing your integrity!

The theme of Sacrifices must be made threw us a bit off the loop at first, with several ideas for potential adaptation of the theme coming to mind. Some of the wildest ideas included sacrificing people at a game shows and even a reverse animal crossing where you'd sacrifice one of the animals at the end. It was the wild west of brainstorms alright.

In the end, we adapted Sacrifices under a super-hero motif, and not in a way that might make more sense at first. In Super Sellout, your Sacrifice actually comes from sacrificing the comfort of playing for some wild modifiers that make the game harder and more uncomfortable! Why would you make such a sacrifice? Well, for money of course! Being a nice super-hero doesn’t always pay the bills like it should. :moneybag:

As you can see from the GIF above, toggling in all contracts can lead to one crazy gameplay experience. You’ll have to play multiple rounds at first in order to unlock all of the modifiers, but that will allow you to see the game evolve its simple barely-any-contracts-signed state to its full fledged contract-mania, with metal and dogs running towards you, screen overlays and even your own chihuahua that moves you at random!

And the results can easily be seen! With barely any contracts, you’ll be able to make an high score of around $500, while going all-in with all contracts can net you anywhere from $4000 to beyond $7000 depending on how used you get to the game!
