Turtleboi's main strength is acceptace. He can accept mostly anything. He accepted when he lost his job. He accepted Turtlegurl leaving him because of that. He even accepts that some people put up toilet paper the wrong way round. The concept of an end of the world however is the first thing he doesn't want to blindly accept. That's one step to far. The floating eyeballs themselves are okay. Even your dragon seems more accepting towards them as long as Turtleboi is around. But that the world as source of anything acceptable itself will stop... Unacceptable!
