I’ve only done one so far, #32. I was 15 then, and I’m still 15. I’ve gotten a team together for the one coming up in December.

The LWJGL provides OpenGL (Graphics library) and OpenAL (Audio library), so, it is not that special 馃槈

I started aged 11, now I am 12, there was a 9yr old in #LD 33 or 32 I think, and you might want to look for the “Young Persons” post by oranebeast, he asked the same question, but has a loooot of answers 馃榾

I was 14 in my first (LD 32). Yeah, I’m quite new. I remember what my idea of game development was when I was 7. It was, use Game Maker and steal images off the internet. Age 15, it is to use opengl and make awful graphics, but at least they’re my own :3

The youngest I’ve ever heard of was 9, not sure if there are younger Darers out there, could easily be though. I started when I was 14, now I’m 16.
My brother participated when he was 8 馃榾
